Hello I would like to introduce a wonderful book which is called: Wonder, This book is an amazing book It really taught me something new which is: never judge others by thier looks or their faces. August had a deformed face he really wanted to be treated like everyone else but no one treated him like anyone else especially  julian and his mum. Julian and his mum said that August should go to another school.

My Main points on how to run fast

How to run faster.

Intro- To run fast you need to learn some fun skills and also you will get fit.You should try your best and believe in yourself.

P1-Firstly looking straight ahead is mostly important because if you look at the sides of you you might trip over and go all wonky and then you end up into someone else's lane. When you are running you have to look straight because you go of your own lane and then you might be disqualified.  

P2- secondly light feet is also important because you should always have your toes pushing you faster when you run and also tip toe when you are running.

P3- Thirdly stand tall so you can have much oxygen and more breathing. Breathing is really really important.

Conclusion- The good news is that if you never ran a mile or more before then you can easily improve your run time 2-4 minutes per mile.

If you normally run 6 minute miles, it will be very hard for you to get down to 5:30 minute or even 5 minute miles.

You should choose the T-shirt and Shorts.

What is a 3D printer.

What is a 3D printer?

    

• Do you know what is a 3D printer?  

A 3D printer is a machine that is quite quite different to the normal printer because a 3D printer can print out in Metal,Plastic, and it can be all over the world so when you listen carefully you might know some more  facts about 3D printing.

3D printer is unlike of the common printers. On a 3D printer the object is printed by three dimension. A 3D model is built up layer by layer. Therefore the whole process is called rapid prototyping, or 3D printing.

• Design.

With a 3D printer, we can create objects impossible to make a single piece by other means of production. It is possible to print objects within objects, hollow parts, interconnected parts, moving pieces, complex twist, and intricate details.

• Preparing for print.

It all starts with making a virtual design of the object you want to create.

This virtual in a CAD(Computer Aided Design) file using a 3D modeling program (for the creation of a totally new object) or with the use of a 3D scanner (to copy an existing object).  A 3D scanner makes a 3D digital copy of an object.

• How to download on STL file.

The STL file format is widely used across different 3D printing and modeling interfaces. For instance, many of the models you might find on Thingiverse.com are available in STL format, and serval popular 3D printers accept STL files to prepare models for fabrication. This extension provides Import/export functionality for STL files to and from Sketchup, so you can easily export Sketchup groups to STL, or import an STL design and manipulate it within sketchup.

Rugby world cup: Romania.

Hello today I am going to show you what I have colored in WIth me and my budy Dinah this is a time to show you a wonderful picture of the RUGBY WORLD CUP 2015 the colors of Romania is Blue,Red,and also Yellow.

This is what me and my budy Dinah did we tried as hard as we can to do this wonderful design of Romania it is amazing I hope you would enjoy this have a lovely time looking at our wonderful peice of RUGBY WORLD CUP 2015.  

We did not only do the Romania colors we added some other wondeful colors as well WE HOPE YOU ENJOY IT!!!  

As you can see we have put in some decorations like the crown right on top of the left side of the T-shirt and we also drawed a Rugby ball and did the colors that goes for Romania, We also learned some new facts like, 

The Romania language is 1,700 years old, 

The name "Romania" comes from the latin word "Romanus" which means "Citizin" of the Roman Empire, 

Romania is eroupes richest country in gold resourses,

Romania has one of the happiest cemeteries on earth,

Romania has 7 unesro world heritage sites,

Sometimes tied with Salvic neighbors, Greece, Turkey, Germany, the ussr or Aungary.

Romana is a country that many people don't know about.

Romania is the ninth largest wine producer in the world.

This is my trip about visy and we were really good there and we took really good images, and I know that you can put bottles into bales and also cans into bales.

Talofa lava, Today I am going to talk about: What we did at maths time with Bina. At the first part she told us to read the problem, then she told us that there were 9 squares and there were 4 toothpicks in each square. How many toothpicks would she need to make a pattern like this that has 9 squares?
Firstly this is what we thought that we had to do, we thought that we had to do this but then we all went back and did the right thing.

This is a photo of my group which is Maxine,Ezekiel,and also Ivorn. we were working the answer out by doing this, We did 9 squares and 3 toothpicks but with ice block sticks. The 3 toothpicks are the stick that are square and this is what we did.

They were trying to figure the problem as well but they did it wrong at first but they got there at the end.

This is us trying to do what bina is saying to us like do thirds do 9ths do 10th.

We tried as hard as we would do anything.

and we had to make a pattern like this tha has 9 squares.

My group got the answer like this: so there were 9 squares and 3 toothpicks inside each square, then we did 9x3=27+1=28.

The answer is..... 28 because 9 squares x 3 toothpicks = 27+1=28.. 9x3+1=28

My speech!!!!

My speech is about: ALways use the kawa of care and also it keeps you safen online. My speech was really good I felt nerve racking to say my speech in front of the whole class and I just did it, I had good eye contact starting from the introduction to my paragragh one, Then In looked back down and when I looked the the audience I was smiling first, I used some expression, some emotive language, and also repitition for my wonderful speech. Why I chose this speech? I chose this speech becuse the chromebooks help you with your learninig and it is more better than writing with peice of paper and a pencil it gets me very tired but the first time I tried my chromebook I was really good at typing fast because my mum teaches me some keys which is which. If you don't have wifi connection you can just go on your chromebook search google drive on you laptop then you can access it to do your homework offline, I currently beleivi that your child should get one of the chromebooks and they wll never be tired of writing.

Today James tought us a awesome new thing which is called KIZOA it is fun, amazing, and also awesome. you should really try it out because when I first tried it I thought it was going to be hard but all I needed to do was just to put in the pictures that we wanted, But also this the hardest part you have to try and pur on the matching music on your slideshow to show what it stands for it.

I really think that you should all learn these words because it will be use for science and about water as well. I think I took really good pride of myself and I really like my presentation. I think it is amazing.

My art project.

This term we are doing art every Wednesday, We have been doing lots and lots of drawing but it was difficult because we had to try and draw the pictures and make it fit the whole page. It was hard to draw all of these because the cat face was really hard even the body. Do you know how to draw a cat face? I think it is really hard for you as well unless if you think you are a good artiest.

My H2O water Project

This is my H20 water science project. We were doing Refraction, Reflection,Surface skin, Magnifier, Gas-Steam,Liquid-Water,Solid-Ice those are all the things I had done in this project. It was so awesome when I finished it. It was super cool my teacher liked it. I have done really hard work. I think that I have  done pretty good with my science work. It was hard because I never knew what was Refraction so I learnt that word.

This term we have been learning about all the science stuff like refraction and other stuff I told you. It was really hard for me. Would you solve this when you first tried it.

What we have learnt in maths.

This term we have been learning about volume and 3 dimension with Bina.
We were working with our buddy. My buddy was  JJ and Fifita. F. We were doing really well with our group we just got on to it when she said to go and work on which ever box we would like to show you which box we were working on.

This box is the letter A we had to see the smallest to biggest and I had two letters mixed up which was F and H. It was really hard to figure out because the F is bigger than the H but I thought that it was H bigger than F. We were working on these little multi link blocks then we moved on boxes because the multi link blocks were to easy for us. This whole term room 14 have been learning about volume and the 3 d dimension.

Volume means that when you have a cube or a box then you measure the width height length. It doesn't matter if you mix the height length width because you will get the same answer. It was interesting because we did or the volume for all the boxes and the volume for the A was 2772 cm 3. Do you know what does the 3 stand for? It stands for the cubed or box because if you don't add the three then it will be wrong because you never know what will it be like 2772 shoes or 2772 shower and other points like that so you should always use the 3 at the end.

This is the F and H which do you think is bigger and which do you think is the smallest.

F is the biggest in all of these boxes we figured out it was so hard to make a decision which of the H or F is biggest but unfortunately it is the letter F box.  

This box is the second biggest it is just a little bit smaller than the E  because this is 8976 cm 3 and the letter  E is 18,000 cm 3. Do you know what this 3 stands for I bet you do because I told you at the bigging of my sentence. 

This is the order of the boxes,

D,B,C,A,G,H,F,E.

I got mixed up with the F and H so I heard and I saw the right correction of this it is F bigger than H by the cm 3 because H is 8932 cm 3, and F is 8976 cm 3 now you know which is bigger.

Snow White's story.

Hello today we have been reading a story called Snow White. This story was really cool we had to pretened who we might be and some of us chose to be her real mother from heaven, or real father from heaven. It was amazing when we read that story. We read it because it was BOOK WEEK!!! We were so intrested. When our teacher said to go and start to do a letter for her we all went and started writing. Did you read Snow White?

Dear Snow White,

It’s me Grumpy I  really like your story. I was just wondering that why did you break into someone's house that is so so horrible.  

I told you never open the door to strangers but you still open it to the horrible witch.

If you didn’t open the door you wouldn’t be eaten the apple that the witch gave  you.

Why would you even eat the witch’s apple you should think before you start to eat that poisonous apple.

I really hate the way that you just went into the strangers house and cleaned it for them and then you just hop on their bed and just slept on it while they were gone.

Were you actually dead because if you wasn’t we would be ok  but we thought that you were dead so we were so so sad for you then the prince came and kissed you and you became alive again.That was so silly when the prince kissed you.

Why did you go off with the prince when you don’t know him that well. Why did you say I’ll do your washing,I’ll cook dinner,  but when you said I’ll cook dinner they all said cook dinner yes you can stay with us now that was so sad for you Snow White.

Why did the prince kiss you when he’s a stranger as well you should've listen to grumpy never talk to strangers or open the door to them.

If the prince wasn't there you would be dead for your whole entire life. Did you know that the witch was dead straight after she fell of that branch it was terrible but that was good because she is dead her whole entire life.

If the prince didn’t come we would be crying for you because you were going to be dead and we wouldn’t see you again.

This is what you should've done, You should lock all the doors and the windows so the witch doesn’t come, then your life will be alright.

Samoan language week.

On friday the 29 of May we were doing a dance for Samoan language week, 

The girls had two dance and the boys had two dance as well. 

We were doing the samoan songs as well.

This is us we were sitting up like we were in a real dance that what siva Samoa girls and boys they always have to have lipstic and samoa cloths.

This is Presley and Hermione representing the samoan assembly it was amazing when they were talking they were using expression.

I was surprised when I saw them dancing it was a really good performance.

Hi everyone me learned a really nice tool, you could speak to your chromebook like a two year old. It is really, really fun.
You don't need to write on your chromebook you could just speak to it and it will write it for you sometimes it makes mistakes.

This app is really cool and fun. It is called speech Recognition.
Download it you will be amazed.

Jump Rope For Heart.

This week May road school was doing jump rope for hearts it was really fun, we did lots of activities like skipping one by one but really really fast just like Haofei, Mary, Maxine they are the fastes skippers in Rm 14.

This is my group which is group 9, we had to split into groups and  there were ten groups.

It was really cool with our groups because we were so mashed up and we didn't even know that we were in groups until they told us.

This is Setu doing a fun activitie and he did it very fast. Well done Setu.

Tennis Term2

 

We learned that the sweet spot is the best spot ever, We also learned that we should try and balance for long because our coach that tought us he said he practice for 2 years and he is now professional. 

We've been practising throwing the ball as high as our head and hit the racket to the ball and hit it as far as our waist.

When we finished that we learned how to do a sandwhich before we hit the ball. A sandwhich is that when  you throw the ball to your partner then they have to catch it and then they have to say sandwich and hit it to their partner.

Then we learned bouncing it on the sweet spot and we were passing the ball to our partners It was really fun. Do you like playing tennis?

I really like it when our coach Josh taught us some really cool tricks. 

We learned how to bounce the ball really fast it was really fun.

Would you want to play tennis with your family?

It was easy as can be until that time he said throw the ball and swing your racket around and then bounce the ball.

Book Tracks.

For today I've been reading on book trac and my book that I read was the ghosts. It was a little bit scary because of the sound effects. The most favourite point was that I really like is the bit that Eddie and Joe went to this hounted house and the sound effects was really scary.

I think that you should read this book because this is a really awesome book for you it is to me I love this book.This book is really intresting I really think that you might like this scary book.

The artist is by Sue Copsey and this artist is so awesome at creatng this scary book called the ghosts.The front cover looks scary that why I chose this book.
